The Olive Shop Refund Policy

Thank you so much for purchasing from our store www.theoliveshop.com.au.  We hope you love your purchase!

Damaged Items

We are very sorry if your item or gift arrived damaged, if this is the case, we will gladly send you a replacement or process a refund for you or the person who purchased your gift.  Please contact us at contact@theoliveshop.com.au and we will work with you to determine the best option for you.  Please note that for damaged items we may ask you to provide photographs.

Refunds and Exchanges

As food items are perishable and cannot be resold, then we are unable to offer a return or exchange for these items for change of mind.

Additional non-returnable items include:

* Gift cards

* Some health and personal care items (i.e. soaps, skincare and cosmetics)

For those products eligible for a refund (i.e. baskets, pottery, books, olive wood) we will require a receipt or proof of purchase submitted within 30 days of purchase and the item must be returned in original packaging and in good unused condition.

Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card, or other original method of payment, within 5 days.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Shipping

To return an undamaged item please mail the item/s to P.O Box 1451 Milawa VIC 3678.

You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you wish to exchange an item, we will work with you to determine the most appropriate way to pay the cost of return shipping.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we can’t guarantee that we will receive a returned item and any item/s not received cannot be refunded or exchanged.
